Enigma is a Tasmanian creative studio built around stories, ideas and the things they become.

It began with A Taste of Guaraná, a novel that grew into something larger: an expanding collection of fiction, digital prints, illustrated works, cards, games and carefully designed artefacts.

Story remains at the centre of everything we do. Sometimes it becomes a book. Sometimes a print. Sometimes an entire cabinet filled with historical figures arguing over the future of civilisation.

Our work combines strong design, thoughtful writing and a slightly dark sense of humour. We create pieces with character, substance and enough originality to justify their continued existence.

Projects such as Cabinet of Civilisation bring these elements together, combining storytelling, art, strategy and history in a world designed to be explored rather than briefly admired and forgotten.

Enigma does not make things simply to fill space. We create stories and objects intended to stay with you.
